CHARMS OF LISBON A half day tour, to visit the Oceanarium, both bridges spanning the River Tagus and the monumental area of Belém. Departure to the Parque das Nações (former Expo'98), to visit the Lisbon Oceanarium, where five main habitats have been recreated - large, central tank, representing the open seas, and four coastal habitats, the rocky North Atlantic coast, the sandy Atlantic coasts, the temperate Pacific, and the tropical Indian coral habitat. Altogether, more than 30 tanks make up the Oceanarium, which contains over 7,000m3 of saltwater. From North / or Lisbon International Airport: Take the Av. Marechal Craveiro Lopes (2ª Circular). Exit at Campo Grande, entering the Alameda do Campo Grande. Pass under Av. da República tunnels, until you reach the Praça Duque de Saldanha. Carry on straight ahead, along the Av. Fontes Pereira de Melo, and enter the large roundabout at Marquês de Pombal. Exit the roundabout on the second right, immediately entering the side lane, which runs parallel to the Av. da Liberdade. Having passed the large Tivoli Lisboa, which is on your right, turn first right. You then have to go left and the ramp to Tivoli Jardim's parking lot is on your right hand side. From Vasco da Gama bridge: Follow directions to the Av. Marechal Craveiro Lopes (2ª Circular) and then continue as indicated above, for Lisbon International Airport. From South (A2) Algarve via the 25 de Abril Bridge: Exit where you see the sign Town Centre, towards the Marquês de Pombal roundabout. Go straight ahead, up a hill and down again until you reach Rua Joaquim António de Aguiar (going down after a tunnel) until the last set of traffic lights, before the Marquês de Pombal roundabout. Having passed the large Tivoli Lisboa, which is on your right, turn first right. You then have to go left and the ramp to Tivoli Jardim's parking lot is on your right hand side.
